Ansonia Local Schools recently received one of Ohio's Race to the Top Innovative Programs Grant along with Fort Recovery, New Bremen, New Knoxville, and Mississinawa Valley.  The grant "Mercer, Auglaize, Darke Counties for STEM" (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), MAD for STEM was a collaborative application to further enhance STEM instruction.  Ansonia Local Schools will receive $50,000.  The grant will allow instruction "Engineering is Elementary" for grades five and six.  We will incorporate STEM instruction into the junior/senior high curriculum as well.  We are excited to have these funds to further enhance STEM instruction for the students of Ansonia Local Schools.
