Principal's Message

Jim Robson
High School Principal

Dear Ansonia,

We are excited to start the 21-22 school year. I am looking forward to going to athletic events for the new conference. We are now part of the Western Ohio Athletic Conference. It will be fun to compete for conference titles in all of our sports.

We have a great staff, student body, and community. I would like to thank all parents for their support of our school!! The opening of the new preschool/field house was awesome this past school year. I hope everyone is proud of the school and the community.

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the new Ansonia school website. It is my goal to make this an informative site where you can find important information about what is going on during the school day and in the evenings.

Our schedule is changing for the upcoming school year. We will be starting class at the JH and HS at 7:40 with the HS day finishing at 2:23 and the JH day finishing at 2:26. These changes have been made to accommodate a longer education time in the classroom.

We have a great group of students so I know we will all do what needs to be done during school to make the best learning environment possible. We not only have many different sports that our students can participate in, but also various organizations. It is my hope that all students will pick at least one after-school activity to be involved with.

I will be active in keeping you informed of the activities that our students are participating in. Please follow me on Twitter at @ATigerprincipal. I will post updates not only on sporting events but on many different aspects of our students’ day and evening activities. If you don’t have Twitter, you can still follow my tweets on our school webpage.

The staff and administration at Ansonia are dedicated to educating our students to the best of our ability. Should you ever have any questions or comments, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Sincerely,

James G. Robson, Jr.

Jr/Sr High Principal
