Ansonia Parents Alliance
A collaboration of staff, students, parents and community to effectively support and enhance students learning through enriched programs and activities.
The Ansonia Parents Alliance (APA) is a nonprofit parent teacher organization whose mission is to establish and nurture a close relationship between the parents, teachers, and students by advancing opportunities in the home, school, and community of the Ansonia Local School. The APA provides assistance to teachers in the classroom settings, raises funds for educational materials and experiences, supports school and family social interaction, and provides a non-biased opportunity for sharing information on issues that impact our children. It is our belief that the team effort of the APA offers the best possible learning environment for our children.
Objectives of the Mission:
a) To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, and community
b) To bring closer the relationship of home and school so that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of the child.
c) To enhance the educational facilities and opportunities for the students of Ansonia Local School (grades pre-school through 8th grades) that is not otherwise provided in the school corporation budgets.
